New Patients: If you're new to the clinic, we'll be spending about 10-15 minutes of your first appointment chatting about your health history and treatment goals. Wu's Head Massage is a relaxing scalp, neck, and face massage based on acupressure and Chinese Medicine theory. It's calming and grounding- a great choice for those experiencing stress, anxiety, insomnia, facial tension, and headaches. It also improves blood circulation to the face to impart a rosy glow, improves lymphatic drainage, and reduces the appearance of expression lines. Peony Tree Medicine's Signature Wu's Head Massage & Facial Guasha includes an extensive face and neck guasha treatment to rejuvenate, smooth, release, or de-puff your face by: improving blood circulation and lymphatic drainage; boosting collagen production to decrease fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin texture; and releasing the muscular tension that causes expression lines and impacts your mood. Book 45 minutes for the standard treatment; 60 minutes for some extra attention; or 30 minutes for an express (but still very effective!) version of the treatment. *This signature treatment may include other tools and techniques such as ear seeds, stick-on needles, or Far Infrared (FIR) Heat Therapy to address your specific health & wellness concerns.
