Nicolette Henderson, R.Ac, R.TCMP
I'm a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP) with the CTCMPAO (College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners of Ontario). I graduated from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (OCTCM) Toronto Campus with 3000+ hours of training including over 840 hours of clinical internship. In my practice, I use a variety of Chinese Medicine modalities, including: acupuncture, fire cupping and silicone cupping, gua sha, moxibustion (moxa), tuina (massage), and herbology. I also offer relaxing head and face massages, facial guasha, and facial cupping. I'm especially drawn to treating symptoms of stress, insomnia, depression, menstrual issues such as dysmenorrhea and PMS, digestive conditions, and Long COVID / post-COVID conditions, but I can utilize Chinese Medicine principles to address a wide variety of health concerns. I'm committed to furthering my education, and I strive to regularly upgrade my knowledge through classes and readings. I offer practical and empathetic care with a unique approach for every patient. We're all different, and we all need different things. Everyone has their own route towards holistic wellness, and I'm here to assist you along yours. I grew up in Port Perry, and having spent the last decade of my life in Toronto, I'm back to my hometown for a change of pace. When I'm not in the clinic, I love to write and play music with my husband and spend time camping, hiking, and otherwise immersed in nature.
